Delete call recordings

Delete call recordings easily with the right permissions and follow the steps in the guide.

Who can delete call recordings?

  • Users with competence can delete their own recordings
  • Supervisors and agents (own recordings in group as well as others' recordings in group) can delete recordings once they have been assigned the permission
  • Users in the “full search & playback permission” list can delete all recordings

Delete your recordings

If you have the permission, you can easily delete your recordings by following the steps below.

You can also delete multiple recordings at once. See the guide below for bulk deletion.
  1. Click on telephony
  1. Click on call log
  1. Click on All
  1. Click on the menu for the recording you want to delete
  1. Click on Delete
  1. Click on Yes

You cannot recover deleted recordings. Once you accept the deletion, they cannot be recovered.

Delete recordings from a response group, other users, or delete in bulk

  1. Click on operator
  1. Click on Call logs
  1. Make one search
  1. On the call whose recording you want to delete
  1. Click on the menu
  1. Click on Delete
  1. Click on Yes

To delete in bulk (multiple recordings at once):

  1. Follow steps 1–3 above
  1. Select the calls whose recordings you want to delete
  1. Under results, click the menu
  1. Click on Delete
  1. Click on Yes

You cannot recover deleted recordings. Once you accept the deletion, they cannot be recovered.
