Who can start & pause a call recording?
- Any user with the permission to do so
There are two different types of permissions, one for users and one for response groups.
Here's how you do it
First of all, you need to be in a call or conference (audio only) to be able to start or pause a call recording.
- Click the recording icon (It is white when the call is not being recorded)
- The icon should now be red and pulsating.
- Click it again to pause.
If you pause a recording and then start it again, you will get two audio files in the call log. This feature is often used when you need to censor parts of a call.
