Manage call recording retention period

Who can manage the retention period for call recordings?

Users with telephony system permissions can adjust the retention period for recordings on both users and response groups.

Configure the retention period

You can easily configure the retention period for your call recordings, both for users and response groups.

Call recordings are deleted on a first-come, first-served basis and will no longer be available after they have been deleted.

Storage periods

  • Choose from 1, 6, 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84 months or custom
  • Max 30,000 calls (user)
  • Max 300,000 calls (response group)

Set the retention period for a user

  1. Click on the gear wheel
  1. Click on your organization
  1. Expand telephony system
  1. Click on call recording
  1. Select the user you want to configure by expanding that menu
  1. Under Storage Period, select the number of months you wish to store
  1. Click save

  1. Click on the gear wheel
  1. Click on your organization
  1. Expand telephony system
  1. Click on call recording
  1. Select the response group you want to configure by expanding that menu
  1. Under Storage Period, select the number of months you wish to store
  1. Click save
