Who can connect calls?
- All users can connect calls in the app.
Types of coupling
Direct connection
- The call is connected. directly without you talking to the person first.
- Also called: cold-coupling, blind coupling, unattended connection or unannounced connection.
Announced connection
- You Talk to the person you are connecting to before the call is released..
- Also called: hot-plug or supervised connection.
- Often seen as a more professional way to connect calls.
Directly transfer a call
When you are in a call:
- Click on the single arrow.
- Click on the single arrow again.
- Select user, number or response group.
- Click on the phone to connect the call.
Announced call connection
Step-by-step
Note: If you are talking on your mobile, the call must first be moved to the mobile app by selecting “Move here” in the app.
- Click on the single arrow.
- Click on the double arrow.
- Select user, number or response group.
- Click on the phone to start the call to the person you want to connect to.
- The ongoing call with the caller is put on hold.
- When you have finished talking to the person:
- Click on the single arrow to complete the connection.
In the view, you can see whether the user is available, talking on the phone, or marked as busy.
